Gavin Esler

Gavin loves London and wants to do what’s best for the most diverse city in the world, his home for years. That means stopping Brexit.

Gavin is a journalist, writer and broadcaster, the author of seven books. He was born in a council house in Glasgow, the first in his family to go to university. He is not a politician and never wanted to be one, but the spectacle of a British Prime Minister begging EU leaders for more time for Brexit propelled him to do something to prevent our national self-harm.

Gavin argues that together, we need to stop Brexit, change Britain and reform the EU. Any Brexit deal makes us poorer as a country and condemns us to years of Brexit negotiations, trade deals, changing laws and endless rows. Nigel Farage says he wants to dismantle the NHS and give us American health care. Gavin wants a People’s Vote, and to rebuild great British institutions – especially the NHS.
